Suzerain is the a narrative government simulation game developed by Torpor Games, a Berlin-based game company and published by Fellow Traveler.

The game was released on Windows and MacOS, on December 4th 2020 and the Nintendo Switch, on September 23rd 2021, and for Android and iOS on December 8th 2022.

Suzerain places the player as the newly-elected president of the Republic of Sordland, which has emerged from a civil war and twenty years of authoritarianism of President Tarquin Soll, along with a severe economic recession from Rayne's predecessor, President Ewald Alphonso.

The player can openly and freely choose how they can shape Anton Rayne's first term as President of the Republic of Sordland, either guiding themselves toward the west and capitalist Arcasian Treaty Organization, stay neutral, or aim east to United Contana, they can shape and reform the old Sollist constitution or become authoritarian, and many other actions.

• Kingdom of Rumburg
  The relationship between the Kingdom of Rumburg and the Republic of Sordland is openly negative, especially with the expansionist policies of the Kingdom of Rumburg, as shown in the Annexation of Dome from Agnolian authorities. This antagonism can be seen, when the long standing Rumburgian consulate in Lachaven closes over violence in Sordland.


• The Arcasian Treaty Organization
  The Arcasian Treaty Organization is one of the major blocs, that the player, can have Sordland align to. ATO stands for democratic principles and capitalism, and is the largest dominating bloc in Western Merkopa, ATO's main rivals is the Malenyevist-aligned Contanan Security Pact. Depending on the policies that the player has chosen at the start, Sordland can apply to join ATO and receive its benefits from being a member of the Arcasian Treaty Organization.


• The Contanan Security Pact
  The Contanan Security Pact is one of the major blocs, that the player, can have Sordland align to. The CSP stands for socialist and communist ideologies and planned economies, and is the largest dominating bloc in Eastern Merkopa, the CSP's main rivals is the Capitalist-aligned Arcasian Treaty Organization. Dependening on the policies that the player has chosen at the start, Sordland can apply to join the CSP and receive its benefits from being a member of the Contanan Security Pact.
